Beyond that, it leverages the familiarity of Microsoft Excel for templates that can be downloaded to customers' laptops for immediate use; particularly efficent when users are going to be away from the office and an internet connection.
Once users access and save the appropriate template from Virtual Premise, they can manipulate their data accordingly, save that data and once back in the office or connected, they can upload the changed or new data to Virtual Premise. This eliminates the need for time-consuming double entry. Throughout this process, you can rest assured that your work is uncorrupted, as the records you have checked out will be locked during this time.
Administrators will also enjoy the management flexibility that is built into this feature, as administrators have the ability to cancel downloads, unlock downloaded records and reprocess file uploads to capture additional edits that may have been made. Detailed reports are included showing activity for all files, and the functionality uses Virtual Premise's inherent email notification system.
