Our History
Virtual Premise, one of the industry’s leading providers of real estate information management technology solutions, was founded in 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia with the mission of bringing web-based technology solutions to the commercial real estate industry. The first release of the Virtual Premise software solution was in the summer of 2000. Since that time, several new major releases have been completed. In June 2003 the company acquired the assets of ASI International, the leading provider of Lotus Notes-based workflow management solutions to the real estate industry. In 2010, the company issued revolutionary enhancements to its real estate information management solution, featuring a unique Strategy and Analytics module that enables customers to align their real estate operations with company objectives to increase margins and profitability. In October, 2011, CoStar Group acquired Virtual Premise in a strategic aquisition that combines industry leading lease management tools with CoStar's comprehensive information platform.
