Virtual Premise may perform professional services, such as data hosting, for clients during which it may be given access to personally-identified information of European Union Citizens employed by client or client customers. This information is received only in the course of performing professional services. We receive this information solely pursuant to written contracts. The information is not used for any purpose other than those specified in the contracts.
Opting Out
Most customers tell us they appreciate receiving our news and promotions; however, we believe it's very important for you to be able to choose whether you receive periodic mailings and information from us. You can choose to opt out at any time by simply replying to a mailing to inform us of your preference. All of our mailings will clearly explain how you can easily opt out and stop receiving information from us.
Onward Transfer
Virtual Premise will not transfer clients’ data except with the written authorization of the client. Where Virtual Premise uses third party sub-contractors or vendors having access to client data through Virtual Premise they are (1) contractually required to comply with Virtual Premise’s privacy policy, (2) subject to the European directive or other adequacy finding, or (3) independently ascribe to the safe harbor provisions themselves.
Data Security
Virtual Premise maintains reasonable precautions to protect personally-identifiable information from loss, misuse and unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction. Only authorized users, bound by employee confidentiality agreements, have access to such stored data. To help protect your confidentiality, Virtual Premise employs security safeguards; however, we can't eliminate all security risks. For instance, Virtual Premise's web site contains links to other web sites. We have no responsibility or control over linked web sites and their privacy policies or the way they collect and control your personal information. Enforcement
Virtual Premise will cooperate with the EU Data Protection Authority and the Department of Commerce to resolve any complaints and disputes arising in connection with its privacy policy. All Virtual Premise employees will be required to be familiar with and adhere to this privacy policy. Virtual Premise will investigate any reported complaints of violations of its privacy policy and will take prompt remedial action where violations are found. Dispute resolution provisions in Virtual Premise client contracts will be followed.
Correcting and Updating Your Information
Customers may update or change their contact records by logging into their version of Virtual Premise with their user name and password. Any request to access, change, or delete your information may be directed to our Support Center at 1-866-4VP-TECH.

In summary, we believe strongly in respecting your privacy and your wishes about the use of your personal information.
